Hey everyone! The plant is growing fine, all praying and happy, but the leaves come out twisted. 27C day, 24C night temperature, 60% humidity. What can it be? A PH issue? Or simply a mutation? I do PH my water at around 6.2. The seed was not fresh, around 2 years old. Thanks!

This seedling would fail my "quality control" and would be culled immediately and without hesitation, whatever the reason for its appearance. Some seeds just aren't meant to be. You could try and nurse back to normality, but in my experience, 35+ years, seedlings like this do not ever recover. Age is not a factor, just bad genetics. If it were the last seed of a very special strain of cannabis, I would do everything in my power to get it growing, but if I had more seeds of this particular strain, chop, chop is the only practical course of action. You could spend a lot of effort trying to get this seedling to perform and end up with a lot of time and money spent on something that never grows or flowers properly. In nature it is "survival of the fittest". This seedling is not very fit at all. Harsh maybe, but bluntly true. Sorry. pH and germination did not cause this. It is plainly and simply, "a bad seed". Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

I also thought it was PH and got myself a new PH pen, but I just checked the readings from the spray water bottle and it gives me 6.5, the same figure that the old PH meter was giving me. I will use the new PH pen from now on, but it looks more like a mutation. Any other thoughts people? But it stands to mention that I forgot to correct PH in the water I used for germinating the seed. The time will tell anyway.

It is likely that your ph is off. Probably your first ph is out. If you have a reliable ph tester than give enough water to get some runoff and check the ph. If you have an ec reader also check the runoff to see how high the ec is. Cheers

That happens, but it's no problem. Genetics or something. Just go on as usual
