I personally prefer to cut the ladies wet. With larger plants, I use the spinner pro,,, this way I give the buds a good precut, let them dry, and brush off the remaining sugar leaves. I don't throw away much, just the really big fan leaves, and even those go into the blender for smoothies or tea.

It's always a matter of style, of course you can just hang them upside down, but the space should be very well ventilated. You can also cut them into branches and let them dry without removing the sugar leaves... the thing is always to keep an eye on how they're doing. I remove all fan leaves and do a rough precut, and I often hang them on the drying rack in the living room. A cardboard box can also be converted into a drying chamber, just pull some strings, etc., and hang them in there... but always make sure they dry well.
