Benzelsanswered grow question 3 years ago Some strains react better than others to re vegging. As long as you can give it enough light to make the plant think the days are at least 14 hrs long or longer, then most plants will re veg just fine. Aim for 16-18 hrs to be on the safe side, will also transition faster back to veg, But anything over 14 hrs total light from the sun and the light will do. Light coverage is just as important as light strength, if you dont cover enough of the plant with light then the plant wont re veg either properly. So dont leave half the plant in shade or darkness either. From what ive seen covering the entire plant with weak light works better than covering half the plant with stronger light for re vegging, But covering the entire plant with moderate or stronger light works even better again.
Also switch back to veg nutes too once you start seeing new growth, or use a light dose as soon as ur done harvesting if you withheld nutes or flushed em for harvest and another light dose once u see new growth.
