Filtered Water (BRITA) VS. Tap Water?

It will be best to test your pipes coming out of your tap on cold not hot. In my tap on cold my ppm 0 Ec 0 ph 7.0. I also use air pump to keep water moving. And my plants love it. IMO Brita/filter for tap is worse than the tap itself. Good luck

yes filtered water comes from a tiny pipe but I would definitely use it instead of my crap tap water.goddamn tap water is posinious here,leaves a dirty orange residue after some time.hope yours is not the same,go with filtered water mate.

Test your tap waters ppm & ph. Mine comes out of the tap @ 4-6 ppm @ a ph of 6.5. I fill up 4 liter jugs and leave the cap off for 24 hrs to evaporate any chlorine.

Hi mate, nothing wrong with filtering tap water. It has a lot of impurities in it that are not great for soil. I actually use deionised water. In my head it stops ph fluctuations... There is nothing wrong with what you are doing but if you find you're spending too much time waiting for water then either stock up or buy deionised. Its around £15 for 25 lts. Roughly 50lts/grow
