Hi mate.1 gallon a week is enough. do not give your plants too much water, with the substrate always too soggy the roots do not breathe and block as well as the growth of the plant and in the long run it dies. let the substrate dry well between each watering. try to orient yourself by the weight of the pot, the substrate when it is almost dry becomes very light and when it is very wet it becomes very heavy. good luck mate 👍

I agree with RealMed.............. I run 1 gal of nutes/water through my 3 gal fabric pots, every time. Regardless of Veg or Flower state. The small runoff helps reduce nute, salts, other mineral deposits from accumulating in the bottom of the pot. FYI, I run a 3/1 mixture of qual soil and seedling soil, which really helps with soil compaction during grow, and makes the drain easy. Using these inside a 2x2x5 grow cabinet, at 78 degress and nice circulation, I wind up having to water every 3-4 days. I find it hard to over-water if you use the 2 knuckle approach in the soil. Cool to touch, but not damp.

Water enough so you have at least 10% runoff. Then water again when it gets completely dry. That's the only way to go.

Watering more frequently is not a good option. Cannabis plants thrive much better with a strict wet/dry cycle. It is best to water the plant really well and let it dry out quite a bit before watering again. Keeping the top of the soil wet can lead to lack of oxygen, promotes some funky microorganism growth, and invites a lot of unwanted bugs. Best to stick with the tried and true methods when it comes to watering. Good luck!

A gallon per week should be fine. DO NOT water more frequently, that's how you over-water, get droopy plants, and get pest/contam problems. Feedings should be every other week..or better yet, when your plants are "telling" you that they are hungry through visual leaf characteristics/signs.
