"I like big pots and I cannot lie..." (you've got to imagine "Baby's Got Back playing in the background) I like big pots. More soil means more room for root growth and more, stronger roots produce more yield. Larger pots also means more moisture stability so being a bit late for a watering won't be such a problem. I consider 5 gal the minimum pot size but I'm a fewer bigger pot sort of person while hard core sea of green people probably tend towards more, smaller pots.

It would make roughly 1/2oz diffrent depending on strain and how well you grow.
