FARRED

Under normal conditions it can take up to 2 hrs to change Phytochrome state from Pfr to Pr. farred helps change Phytochrome state from Pfr to Pr within minutes. This helps finish the flowering cycle faster and also allows for a 13/11 cycle. Do have Autoflowers the same Phytochr?

To be honest far red isn't as important as people think. I believe a MIGRO video showed that is didn't penetrate through the canopy. I may be wrong but its not as helpful as people say. You only need a max 8% of FR to help growth towards the light, raises up the heat and increases efficiency of the light. Auto's and photos are inherently the same plant. From what I know of ruderalis, it grows in more northern climates. Places where there is less intense sun. Would it be logical to think an auto would need more FR to induce activity...just had my wake and bake so my mind is on one

I retract my earlier statement and say they may need less far red due to being self flowering. Coming from climates where plants need less light to grow as i would imagine ruderalis grows very small in the wild.

Sorry, going to have to disagree with UK420Show about UVB. Lots of research has been done with this. As far back as the 60's. The results were staggering. By applying a maximum of two hours of UVA/B light in the last couple of weeks of flower at mid stage of light schedue, can increase THC/Resin buy 30%. This is due to the plant producing more resin to protect itself against the UV light. It has to be at the end of flowering as studies have been done for the affects at different stages. Lighting in veg will cause the plant to create a resistance to UV so using it at the end shocks the plants into producing more THC. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

Yes I think so they absorb the light in the exact same way as photo in my experience. Why would you want to have 13/11 i know one more hour of light should create a bigger yield but Im sure you will run into other problems but yeah it can be done :) Far red is electro magnetic its not registered on a par value so its hard to evaluate it was never considered to be photosynthetic but its turns out it actually is but its not very good when compared to the other spectrums. the only benefit to far red will penetrate actually through the leaf so light what's beneath too. If your asking if you should use far rad for one hour before lights go off then it could benefit her but i have never tested it. also fer red is usually used in plant which are considered "all day plants" which have flowering cycles of around 16.18 hours while flowering not like cannabis it is a short day plant with only 12 hours needed.
