Bet it explodes soon.. you did some aggressive training and somtimes that can stall a plant a bit.. especially if done early... not always, but occasionally.
anyway, should grow out. Easy to know if it is growing well. The space between growth nodes should be fairly close, but not stacked on top of each other. The intensity of the light will directly impact how close these growth nodes are. IF you want more space, raise light an inch or 2 more than you did before, or lower it if the spacing is too large.
Wait for some vertical growth though... once a new nodes is formed, it should not stay super tight the next day or two. if it is growing out, wait and see... adjust as you go. if you hav a light meter, you can find a min/max range you want.. set to min, grows into max, repeat.
other than that.. just keep'em healthy and happy. wet-dry cycl.. 1" dry, water to 20% runoff. React to any symptoms you see etc etc... easy-peasy.
