EC for flower in soil

3 different plants, 1 doing well, other 2 not so great.
The run off for my soil has EC of 3216, the plants are in in mid flower, using biobizz nutrients, with soil similar to all mix.
Is that way too high or is it ok?

Hi mate, I would say thats a little high. 1500 is probably the maximum TDS the plant can take at any time. Looking at your diaries you can see the one suffering from nutrient toxicity. I would give her just PH 6.2 water for the next couple of weeks and see if she improves. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

Thoughts on providing enough nutrients in the soil for the plant to uptake as needed; rather than feeding while watering? According to Ed Rosenthal if you start with a rich enough medium, you don't have to feed. This is my current method, as I am still a noob. Gracias friends.Week 7

feeding great on a really low EC at 0.8, but i see other grows at pushing 1.5 at the same week. im flooding (Oxygen Pot w/ hydroton) every 4 hours, which feels pretty often. are the amount of floods proportionate to the EC? ex. if i flood less then my ec should be set higher?4 years ago

I'm already seeing yellowing and on the largest plant, #3. Is that due to growth or am I over watering? Approximately 2 gallons in the wick bucket every few days when it starts to feel dry, but I generally spray the top with water on a daily basis, not more than a 1/4 - 1/2 cup.
