Hi i'm currently in my second 'experiment' to grow some auto's. The white widow shows 5 days after germination a v-shaped form of their first pair of leafes. The 2 Royal Jack's are slightly at the same path so i moved my GoLeaf X1 LED (150W) at 60cm distance.

The V upward is just telling you that the plant is loving life. Water, lights, air are on point and that’s their way of smiling. Happy Growing and just be patient

Hej guys, thanks for your replies. I updated my journal while i'm moving the lamp closer to the plants. Now its placed 36cm above the soil around 30cm from the plants. The leaves are now more 'flatten' and grow more in length and width.

While some of what tetragrammaton says seems correct, there's one thing to consider. They often pray because of trying to get more light (for whatever reason). Like, this is not necessarily relevant to indoor growing, but... I've been observing my little seedlings outside, with pretty much random orientations and I can see which plants look more "chilled" and there's a clear trend depending on the orientation of the cotyledons relative to the sun's path. Plants that have cotyledons aligned east-west tend to "pray" (V) a lot. plants with cotyledons aligned north-south look more "relaxed", like more leaf area for light too, coz of that.
