I've been observing my little seedlings outside, with pretty much random orientations and I can see which plants look more "chilled" and there's a clear trend depending on the orientation of the cotyledons relative to the sun's path.
Plants that have cotyledons aligned east-west tend to "pray" (V) a lot. plants with cotyledons aligned north-south look more "relaxed", like more leaf area for light too, coz of that.
