I water with 50% distilled and 50% rain OR 50% distilled and 50% tap. I have fed once with Grow Big and it happened right after. Might have rubbed nozzle on the underside of the leaves. I water every 2-3 days and water until drop of runoff appears in tray. How much runoff?

Hi mate, this is a PH issue. I would not use rain water for the simple fact it may contain pest eggs/larvae and impurities which will affect the PH. Try and keep her around 6-6.5 and maybe do a slurry test of your soil to check the ph your roots are sitting in. Water temperature is also something you need to watch. Between 67-72'F is optimum. Any lower and she will struggle to absorb nutrients. Any higher and the roots struggle to absorb oxygen. To lower the PH of your soil you can use a small amount of agricultural gypsum, dolomite lime to raise it. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing.

Looks just like when I would drip nutes on my lower leaves. Try to be more careful when watering with nutes. Once they get bigger and you defoliate the bottom leaves watering becomes easier. If you are in soil you shouldn't need any nutes for at least a few weeks depending on what you use. I've lately switched over to 3m out of Michigan. It is supposed to last the entire grow with only watering. I have found just my cities straight tap water which is around 200 ppm and pH of 7.6 has been perfectly fine for natural soil. Most soils are buffered for 6.2-6.8 pH. That combined with the microbial life will keep nutes flowing without adjusting water pH.

For runoff, 20% of what you put in is what the majority of people recommend. 🙂
