If the mold you're referencing is Botrytis, or Grey mold; all you can do is VERY CAREFULLY (so not to spread the spores to otherwise healthy buds) cut away and discard the infected areas. There is no way to make botrytis safe to smoke; contrary to popular belief. If it's powdery mildew, you've got less of an issue. As organoman said; "milk works by suffocating the mold, it doesn't magically transform into an antiseptic under UV light" - a milk and water solution will solve most minor instances of powdery mildew. If that doesn't work and the mold becomes uncontrollable, there's a widely used technique known as "bud washing" that you should look into. I'm not sure of it's efficacy having never used it, but given the endorsements it's received from people such as Jorge Cervantes makes it worth the look. Pretty much everything organoman said, to be honest.

Just to clear up some other "advice" - Neem is an insecticide, so will not do anything against moulds/fungus. Spraying with oil is another treatment for insects and will not stop moulds/fungus either. Be aware, neem is not as safe as it is made out to be, in fact, in my country, it is illegal to use neem on any crop intended for human consumption. Milk works by suffocating the mould, it does not magically transform into an antiseptic under UV light. Cheers, Organoman.

If you have mould in your buds, there is little you can do other than to cut it away and throw it in the garbage. Do not smoke mouldy buds, it is very bad for your health. Prevention is better than cure, so make sure you have excellent ventilation during the flowering stage and a low humidity environment, 40% or less is ok. As long as the relative humidity is low and you have excellent air circulation/ventilation, there should be no need to do anything else, apart from not wetting the foliage or flowers with anything - water or foliar sprays. Remember too, anything you spray on your plants' flowers will be something that you will be consuming, so definitely no chemicals! A solution of milk and water can be made to treat powdery mildew if identified at an early stage on the leaves, but there is nothing that will really stop Botrytis. Again, prevention is your only real option. If you already have mouldy flowers, remove as much as possible, which will be sad, but unless you remove all of it, the mould will spread rapidly and you will lose a lot, lot more. Making sure your humidity levels are very low is the best way to prevent further growth of moulds/fungus. Hope this helps,............ Organoman.

You could try a 40% milk 60% water solution. Spray it on the foliage, the proteins in the milk will break down into an antiseptic with UV light. There is also neem oil, sesame oil and fish oil as organic remedies.

Prevention is your best friend here. You can toss away the affected bits, but its really a Neverending battle at that point. Keep humidity in the proper range. Same with temps. Have good airflow including an inline fan (blowing out) if you have a tent.

I agree @cannabis_chris. Another very good solution is tu use a solution of dilluted Clorox bleach. It works well on powder mildew. And the good thing, the Clorox bleach evaporate after a few minutes. So no residutes in your plant, even when flowering. I use a 15mL/L solution and spray à night. It didn't hurt the plants Hope this helps

I believe you're supposed to remove and discard the affected portion of the plant. You may also want to look into some kind of hydrogen peroxide spray, and better airflow
