Dead "skin" on the bottom or mold?

What is that? Is it normal? Its like dry and I can peel it off kind of like dead "skin" 🤢 but I'm scared cause idk what that is... should I leave it be? Or its bad? (Its not spider web, its like growing from the plant or something peeling off) 🤷‍♀️ Could it be root problem?

Plant is shedding it's skin like a snake. When you transplant you can bury that area and it will root up.

Accidentally cracked the stem on top what to do?I was looking in LST and see how i’d get this sorted in the small space. While doing so I accidentally broke the top main branch. What do I do? It cracked and stuff is oozing out. Do I leave it and will it repair itself or should I remove the entire top? :( will she grow with it?
