after adding dry amendments from Gaia Green , I've noticed when I water that the water is having a hard time soaking down into the soil. pools on top an very slowly seeps beneath the soil.normal? can I do something to help?making it difficult to add proper amount of water I think

Will it grow or is it dead ?Day 3: I looked this morning but I didn't saw anything from the plant, still in the earth hope the seed didn't die, I tried to watered it with 5.5 ph water since the soil was 7.5 hope she'll grow. Temperature looks good so far 22-28°C May have to put it in a glass of warer first
