You need to make at least 15 holes on the sides of such jars! A glass jar is basically death for the plant! Use plastic to shade such a little one from the strong Sun! And with glass, you're making a prism of light, and you're really lucky that the jar wasn't crooked and the Sun didn't create a focused beam through the jar! Glass is not an option for covering! Holes are needed on the sides for air, airflow, fresh oxygen!!! 👌 I use a 0.5l plastic beer cup, make holes in it with a burning cigarette (10-15 holes), and spray it with a misting bottle inside the cup, covering the plant with it! And inside, there's excellent humidity, good protection from bright light, just make sure to moisten the cup well from the inside! 👌 Good luck, bro! ✊😇
