Hi, do I have to use bloom nutes to avoid popcorn buds and budlets, or is my coco coir, rich topsoil and small amount of nutes enough for it to flower well and plump up?

Will bloom nutrients help fatten up your buds? -- almost always YES... regardless of genetics. Do I "HAVE TO" add bloom nutes to fatten up by buds -- NO, not always... heavily dependent on genetics. Check out this Think Different - No Nutrients diary. growdiaries.com/diaries/72292-dutch-passion-think-different-grow-journal-by-rcarvalhor Those aren't popcorn. But are they fat enough? That's all subjective. No nutes though! Good luck and let us know what you end up doing! #diaryfollowed

Looks like you have dark shiny leaves, this is a sign of nitrogen build up. When the plants progress through flower you lower the veg nutes to lower N and increase the bloom nutrient to increase P and K. Without giving the correct nutrients for the correct stage your plant isn't go to perform well.

Don't replace flowering nutrients by veg nutrients. It will be worst than not feeding, since you may burn your plant by giving more nitrogen than what your plant need.

Its about the N P K ratios. If you give grow nutes you're likely to give too much N. If this were the case nobody would buy bloom nutes 😝. Hope this helps 🙂
