Hey guys I have some powder mildew on leaves and it may have contaminated the buds. How should I dry them ? Wet trim then dry or can I trim them after the dry ? And will it continue spreading in the drying process/ curing ? What can I do to save my buds from being unusable ? Than

You can also spray the infected areas down with diluted isopropyl alcohol, it will get rid of the fungus spores. This is only safe for edible consumption though. As smoking it would be very toxic. The Isopropyl alcohol is safe because it is used in R.S.O. There is no drying with PM, just processive sterilization with heat during the edible cooking, and the isopropyl.

I would definitely not spray nearly ready flowers with anything! Since they are close to harvest, I would be cutting off the affected leaves now, this may slow maturation slightly, but letting the powdery mildew spread is far worse. You certainly can't dry the flowers with the powdery mildew left in place. Once you remove the affected leaves then harvest later on, and once dried properly (lots of air exchange), curing should be fairly straight forward as the mildew can not survive on dried flowers/buds. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Thanks for the answers guys, but can I spray fungone or milk on nearly finished buds ? Wouldn’t that affect the quality ?

40 parts homogenized milk to 60 parts water, spray affected areas and let dry then trim.

U can use an O3 ( ozone) based product , like Aptus fungone or a Ozone producer to kill it . however, if mold has infected the buds, the infected parts would be safer to place them isolated elsewhere and make butter with them so as not to risk health
