Here we go, one more week, one less for the harvest, if I get to that.....
Checking them out, AMN#1 is showing some improvement, healtywise talking, after one feed with sensizym, looks like BUDS ARE FINALLY FATTENING, even though not all the budsites are fattening equally, but better than nothing as before..
While AMN#2 one its going down!! I found those past few days, some of the buds going greydark green, and just by touching them or pull the leaf VERY LIGHTLY, pieces of buds were falling!
I see this as Botrytis, tell me if Im wrong, and basically, dont know what to do. I'm checking her daily and it doesnt look like it gonna stop this by herself.
Today I went trough the plant like 100 times to check stem by stem and I had take more than a few down.
I gave 1,5lt each of water ph 6.4 + 2ml/l Sensizym.
From now on, they will sleep in the living room till harvest, I believe the Botrytis comes from the past two weeks, temperature dropped down like 10-13 degrees. Had 11º degrees at night, this might have somenthing to do with this... anyway, lesson learned, definetely!
I'll keep an eye on the AMN#2, it might be ncessary to act by chopping her before her time, save the saveable and the rest straight in the freezer for some bubbles.....
Keep you updated folks!
Thanks for reading! ✋
Hi guys ,can I extract with alchool,from buds that were affected by Botrytis?
I read couple of thing around and in here, but did not really get it.
Can I? What would be, healthy-wise talking, the bad effects on us?
Would a alchool extraction be the best solution?
Cheers
The alcohol will still remove the mold into your oil. Mold spores are very small and very bad for you if smoked. There is 1 way, but it’s a pain in the rear...lol you make you iso oil normal, but at the end you have to run the alcohol with oil in it through a 0.2 micron filter of some sort. Must be at least0.2 micron or smaller. It works but it’s a pain. 0.2 micro screen is almost solid...lol
Method: Fresh Harvested Weed / 97ºalchool in freezer, weed in Jar, 30 sec and 2 min wash, strainer, coffee filter, let evaporate room temp. Purged x2 in vac. machine.
May, the fact that the plant was not flushed yet, affect the end product? Not the first time my QWET is bitter.
Hi mate I can see the difference between the 2 girls.
Red stems could be cold night temps? How are your night temps?
Spots on the leaves look like a pest symptom have you checked pests like Thrips?
@PharmaZ,
yes it was, both AMNESIA got flushed because of the Overfert, difference is the reaction they had.
Today watching the sick one, I could see ( hopefully not imagination) some more shine in those buds forming up, maybe the roots are finally cleaning and start to work again! Tomorrow first thing I'll go buy that product we talked about and give'em a nice wash, and then just start feeding them again. She look's definetly hungry, most of her leaves are yellowing, screaming for food?
Cheers mate, take care!
@Pennello, a few questions to ask, was that plant in question flushed? This Could make the root zone colder, along with being closer to the balcony than the other plant...
if you could think of anything else.
I’ve seen red stems due to nutrient deficiency. But it’s mainly cold.
The stems on my plants in the 1 tent are all Purple due to cold as I left the lights off for longer periods then 2 days right at the end. It’s usually close to finish.
@PharmaZ,
Hi Pharmaz, I thougth about night temps, in the past few days did drop a bit, but the other Amnesia does not have a spot in the entire stem, just a leaftip turned purple. Night temps are between 12/15 Celsius..
Now that you say that first time today I've seen 1 or 2 while I was watering them inside the house, but still, shouldnt be them both affected?
Or maybe its because the sick one, needs longer to dry up than the other one? And this would create a good habitat pests... I was pretty sure that such a windy balcony would have kept pests away...
Hopefully Cannazym will give me an hand!
Cheers!!
@Shooey,
that's very true my friend, I'm about to start trimming down the 2nd Amnesia, lets see after 15days of slowdrying what's on the scale!
Cheers for coming by @Shooey!
