Without pictures or a diary, it makes it very hard to give any help. Plants can certainly be ready before what may be written on the packet, but they are usually longer, not earlier than stated. As your plant can not read, it will do its own thing, regardless of what any info may say. Waiting until there are about 95% brown pistils is usually the easiest way to judge when a plant is ready. Some plants will never get amber trichomes, while other can have 75% amber trichomes after only 4 weeks of flowering and this is why I prefer to base my harvest timing according to pistil colour/condition instead, as pistil colour/condition is a direct link to plant health and it is plant health that determines trichome composition, where as trichome colour on its own does not determine trichome composition. Harvest when there are 90-95% brown pistils for a THC influenced mind bending head high. Harvest when there are 98-100% brown pistils for a CBD influenced heavy and sleepy body stone effect. Let your preferred style of effect guide your harvest timing. Hope this helps, Organoman.

It can happen, but I always say—- if you think it’s time for harvest—- wait another week! Are those ambers on sugar leaves or actual bud? Just be patient unless mold or something else is a concern
