I’m going for top end quality. 4x4 tent. 4-5 plants. I’m getting a Philzon 660w lm301b + 660nm red grow bars. I was wondering if i should add a strip of UVA lighting + Emerson effect. If i’m not on the right path for top end product please correct me.

I honestly think running LED and CMH at the same time thru the entire grow gives the best quality. I'm running 2 TS1000 full spectrum white and red and a Growers Choice Master Pursuit 500w CMH with a 3k-R bulb. Total of 800W. Plant size increased a lot. Plant strength increased a lot. Everyone says yields go up and get better frost and density. I'm still waiting for my first harvest so no opinion on finished product. Check out my OG Diesel Kush autoflower diary, I under fed her but she is turning out pretty impressive for an under fed autoflower. Also this would be a great setup for anyone doing a scrog. The stems get thick quickly and get semi tall quickly, but once it gets closer to the LED lights it stops going vertical so much and starts building tight node spacing. I'm going to finish off my 10 plant perpetual and switch to a 4x4 scrog with photoperiods and try to pull maximum yield.

Sounds like plenty of wattage for the space. Keep in mind at the end of the day you can have the best setup on the planet and still lose quality due to environmental issues, genetics, etc etc.

You don’t need to add anything yet. Try a couple of runs and see how everything performs first. I run a top of the line ChilLED growcraft 600w light in my 4x4 and that’s plenty—- same diodes- broad spectrum. Give it a few goes and keep it simple—- and monitor your heat! Good luck ✌️🏻💚🌿💨
