People with experience using the MH TS1000, between 24"-30" at 25% seems like a reasonable height to put my light over the plants in initial vegetative state at my 2x2ft tent? Thank you! :)

I'm rather new to led lights. I use the bigger version of that light the ts3000. I've got my light set at 36 inches and run it on full power all the way through, my friend who has the same light as you ts 1000 does the same. I think it's strange how you got light burn when running it at 25-30%. Have you used a pre loaded soil ? Could be that other than light burn. I've fried a few seedlings using the wrong soil and or lights. We grow and we learn.

Hi! I have the ts1000! I keep it at a fixed height (30cm) starting at 25% for the first two weeks (1 for germination which I don't count as a "week" and 1, the first, for vegetative) then I increase by 5% each week, reaching about 75-80% by the end of flowering for autoflowering. Usually, though, I only grow 1-2 plants; if you have 3-4, raise it to 100%, even 40 cm, from mid-flowering :) it's only 150W, you won't risk burning the tops :)

I use LED and my plants are under full light from the moment they break the soil... the only changes I make are to the height. I would say, at 24-30", you've got a good spacing but turn that intensity up or you'll find your plants are getting really leggy trying to reach the light... If they STILL get leggy with the lights on 100%, all you'd need to do is to lower them somewhat... Good luck!
