Hello grow masters! I would like to ask you if mh 250w and hps 250w are good for veg (the fist one) and flower (the second one) in my 80x80x170. I would appreciate some opinions and advices about my 3 ladies too. Remind that this if my first indoor grow so don't be bad with me!

Lol, I won't be bad with you. First and foremost, your first grow has a great start and everything looks good. As for the lamp, I do believe that a 250w would be enough to propagate these girls and the footprint would be adequate, but may not necessarily being the girls to their full potential. A single 400-600w MH/HPS may serve you better in this space. Adding an additional 250w or other equivalent may help your grow far better. I am curious about the light specs though. Is it a double ended HPS/MH? What is the PAR rating at their recommended heights? Also, what do they advertise their veg and bloom footprint as, and at what height? If you need, hit me up in PM and we can shoot the poop a bit more. For now, I always like to see another response from another user to verify my opinion. Weay have conflicting info. Anywho, cheers and good luck! Maybe talk with you soon👍

Yes the mh have more blue so it's good for veg and the hps have more red which are good for the flowering stage. Tips: -If you want short plants put the hps when the plant are flowering just after the stretch -If you want tall plants then use the hps sooner

Hi @Jack22 the lights seem ideal for the size of your grow. I've done several crops with 250w hps and the results were good. Hps heats up a lot, you will need to have a powerful air extractor, at least 500m3 / H power to have good temperature. good luck mate 👍🙏

yea they are. i guess you could maybe go bigger (e.g. 400W) but you would definitely need a cool tube to try and keep the temperatures down. not much to say with ur plants they look fine and healthy. only thing i spotted is that your daytime temperature is 20. id probably try keep it a slight notch higher around something like 24*C
