I've also read the book by ed, it's really good and helps a lot. Personally, I think the blogs from RQS, Zamnesia, Humboldt Seeds, etc., and of course the blog here... The blogs are all well-written, easy to understand, and filled with endless tips. Other than that, only good genetics, a green thumb, and definitely courage to take action when it comes to topping, LST, and all the other techniques will help. The rest comes with years of experience, but you're already in a great position with your reading and should be able to work well with it.
