GrowCNanswered grow question 3 years ago I don't understand "they don't last long enough". If the plant needs more, give it more. I fertilize a light dose with every watering. I'm trying to keep the nutrient level in the soil smooth and consistent without the spikes of fertilizing once a week or month. Each variety is a little different and photo & auto's are different so I adjust my fertilizing to what the plant is telling me. I only use fertilizer schedules as a rough guideline for getting started.
I often have to give extra nitrogen in addition to what my flower fertilizer provides for 3 or 4 weeks into flower. I will provide more extra nitrogen for the early weeks of flower and taper down the amount.
