This herb is a 49-day-old Double Grape. The calyxes are out, but there are no white hairs on the tips. It works under light for 18 hours. I wonder why it didn't start blooming. Looking at other logs of this species, I saw plants blooming in 28 days.

Try to switch the light cycle to a shorter on cycle you can trigger you're auto to flower .. Ruderalis flowers grow in mountain areas were they have different lights cycles depending where the seeds land on top or down at the mountains, that's why they are auto flowers but still they will notice a shorter light cycle from beginning to end of they're seasonal life no matter if they are on top or down.. that's why autos will still react to this especially because almost every autoflower on the market today is mixed with a photoperiod.. hopes this makes a little more sense now✌️😀

Yeah, what Papa_T said - looks like the auto gene is not strong at all in that one, flip to 12/12 or even 11/13 and it should start flowering.

I mean an autoflower will start to flower on its own time when its genetics tell it to flower. It doesn’t care what you want.

You certainly don’t want to do anything that causes major stress to an autoflower plant. LST is fine but topping could hurt yields because an autoflower just doesn’t have that extra time to recover like a photo period plant does.

Papa_T You're right, my friend, after all, a human does the packaging! Well, one more question, can the lst and topping method delay flowering in automatic plants?

A calyx is an indication of a female plant. A vegging photo period plant will have calyxes all over but no flower. Until you flip to 12-12. Man it’s a seed and nothing is perfect. I’m not questioning your abilities or how many auto flowers you’ve grown. It’s possible that who ever packed the seed into a bag you purchased was wrong.

Papa_T Man, I've grown a lot of autoflowering marijuana plants, and this is a seed that comes in an auto-species wrapper. Also, it is very strange that there are no hairs when there are calyxes, after all, it is an indicator of flowers in the calyx.

Like papa T said. Switch to 12 hour of light and u should see her flower in a couple weeks. Sometimes 24-48hours of dark before switching to 12hour light cycle, it may help the plant to think that fall is coming and initiate flowering. ✌️

Well seems like you don’t have an auto flower type of plant. Auto flower plants bloom no matter what the light schedule is. It is engrained in their genetics. You probably have a photo period plant. Change your light schedule to 12-12 and she will start to flower. In ten days to fourteen days you’ll have some bud setting in. Happy growing friend.
