Good or bad idea? Is it acceptable/correct to prepare watering for the whole week?

I prepared watering once for the next day and I saw cloudy water (it should means protein degradation). What do you think? It will be in darkness and good conditions. I know that the best is preparing just in the moment but I would save time. Scientist/experience data is welcome

My last grow, I changed my reserve water every 6-7 days. I had no water chillers or bubbles going. The water was same temp as air inside tent. During bud cycle I had to add nutrient water every 2 days. But during veg my water stayed the same throughout the week. I wouldnt recommend pre-making nutrients solution, but I feel it's possible.

Hi guys. I checked today the irrigation water and: - No smell. - Not cloudy. - pH variation = -0.1 It was in darkness since sunday. I'm not going to risk using this irrigation water but it seems to have been well preserved. I will probably experiment with this in the future. Thanks everyone.

It’s really much more simple. If your feed has any organics in it at all,NO. If you’re feeding with salts and add boost and organics separate, YES. I’d say about 5 days max though! Enjoy

Following instructions on the label of nutrients, it is not advised to pre-mix your nutes or to mix your nutes together and then add water. Also if you use PH down you should dilute it with water before adding it to your compost tea nutes

It depends on the quality and contents of your water supply, as well as the environment that the water is stored in - did you leave it sealed in a bucket, open in a utility room or a filthy garage? If you are leaving solutions out you will need to keep it bubbling to orevent anaerobic bacteria buildup and pH it every time you water (not the whole reservoir, just the amount you are going to use for that particular watering). After a few days it might be a bit gross so sling it. If you arent aerating dont keep for more than a day or two if you can help it.

it is not recommended to pre-mix nutrient water there are many issues that can come up. for me it is mainly that the Water Temperature will change. pH instability & Nutrient instability The cloudiness can be pH out of range of the nutrient solution.... nutrients will breakdown / nutrient lockout. If not using a dark container it can cause bacteria / unwanted growth. Never store pre-mixed organic nutrients...

No I don’t think preparing your water with nutrients in advance is a good idea. The only thing you should prepare is having your tap water evaporate it’s chlorine content for 24 hours. If you use tap water. It’s always best to prepare and administer. When you mix all these things and let it is sit the PH can drift on you and your nutrients all commingling together for too long just isn’t good. They can start to break down. Then you go to use it your using PH buffer again to readjust and then you can possibly create other issues. Like if you used ph up to stabilize it the first time and then you have to use PH down to to re stabilize it in few day that’s not good. You don’t ever want to have PH up and PH down in the same solution. I know I hear you we would all love to be able to prepare and hold but it’s not worth the potential problems. Example I read a forum. Where the grower had to leave town. Prepared his water for the week so his friend could just water and be done. Had his friend water the plants while he was gone. Trashed his grow because the nutrients solution had drifted and the friend was just there to water not do any mixing. So no. Mix and give. Sorry bro.
