What can I do about thrips at this stage? I got neem oil, but Im afraid to use it because of the smell and taste on the flowers. Also got diatomaceous earth, and added it to the soil (where I thinking the thrips came from). Just got pull both my plants through until harvest :/

Green Cleaner works pretty well. Blue Magic works better. GrowBlueMagic dot com. Defoliate the worst of the leaves. If you can, literally give them a shower from the underside of the leaves. Wash as many off as you can. Put the DE down as top dressing and then spray them daily for a week at lights out. Keep up the spray every 3 days after that. DO NOT USE NEEM ON CANNABIS, EVER.

Like @HerbalEdu said - spinosad is good for thrips, I used to use it on house plants that had critters but not had it in a while. If you dont wanna spray, you need a jug of soapy water, tweezers and a lot of patience. Sit down over the weekend and systematically pull them mo'fos off and put them in your soapy water. I suppose if you wanted to avoid spraying your buds you could dip a cotton bud in spinosad and systematically apply it to each leaf. If you dont wanna spray it is either monotony of picking for hours or just get it over the line as best you can

I was having this conversation with someone about where shit comes from. It can come from anywhere man. You go outside and you may think your clean but you’re still contaminated. You can pick it up in the garden outside or mowing the lawn and then you go visit your indoor garden carrying a few passengers with you. It’s not that your dirty but more so contaminated. It only takes a few small specs and the perfect conditions to be ripe with life in no time. I’m currently battling a little bit of a spider mite situation under my pots. The hell if I know how they got there. I try to keep my shit and myself clean. 🤷‍♂️🏼 Who knows these little microscopic organisms just find their way in. Good luck with the fight.
