Calcium and magnesium are the first to show up with PH issues. The purlple/black spots are lack of oxygen in the root zone. 3% Hydrogen Peroxide in water will replace you oxygen. Make sure to have water you are feeding the plant between 65-70F. This can impact oxygen retrieval. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

I have had this exact same thing happen to me before and it's a soil ph issue . The plant will lock out taking calcium and magnesium and other nures . It looks like a Def but it's a lock out causing the Def. It happens to my plants when my soil ph drops below 5.9 . Make sure your ph pen is calibrated with some ph 7.0 solution. And I would wait till it dries out . Then flush with a 7.0 solution. And feed it your normal feeding at 7.0. Try to get the ph up above 6.0 snd thr plant will start to up take the cal and mag again hit me up if you need to ask any other questions
