Still growing good but the yellowing seems to affect the other leaves too. Wanna fix this quickly before the plant gets too ill. Plagron says not to add extra nutrients with this soil so I didn't. Only water and 2 times with a bit root power. Nothing else so I'm really curious what's going on here with the yellowing.

Plant is 4 weeks old and starts showing yellow leaves in the under areas. No extra nutrients added because I use plagron royal mix soil wich has al the NKP for 6 weeks they say. Little bit of Root power and only water was given.

To me this looks like a ph issue . I would do a run off test to see where exactly your ph is sitting after you water . To me the PH is probly a little bit high this is why it isnt absorbing all the nutrients in the medium . If your PH is fine then I might consider starting to feed your plants abit of nutrients because the soil has depleted in nutrients available for your plant . I hope this information helps you on your quest ! Happy growing !

Any good effective ways to get rid of bugs? I prefer natural or biological solutions. Noticed some leaves getting eatin away! I'm thinking about buying some ladybugs eggs and let them handle it. Let me knowπŸ˜‰

Brother if you want something quick use the products with spinosad which is a soap bit you don't want that in the buds or on them .. you could use a 1to 9 parts alcohol to water and most the underside of the leaves it will kill many insects on contact.. there is Diatomaceous earth which kills all insects at very microscopic level with this grainy material that cuts up the bugs but is safe around pets and kids just don't play in it or inhale it while applying this is organic ..and then I have ladybugs not so much anymore and a dozen prey mantis in the plants I got they are the best natural pest deterrent hope that helps ...

Plant is growing slow, maybe I'm wrong but I don't see a lot of difference since the flowering kicked in. Not as big as I expected. Looks very healthy and no problems but not a lot of evolution. She didn't get much sunlight the last 2 weeks so that's one major cause I suppose.

Sativa heavy strains tend to take a lot longer to do most things vs something indica heavy. I wouldn't be surprised if that strain took 12-13+ weeks to finish flowering. You do have some nice buds forming there so you can rest assured the plant is doing what it should be. It is just gonna be slow going and the last several weeks you should see the flowers really starting to bulk up. Lack of light can definitely slow things down as the plant won't be making as much energy for it to put into growing. The plant looks nice and healthy though so even with that lack of light the plant should be just fine. Another thing that will affect the rate of growth is the ambient temps. If things get too cold for the plant it will slow down its growth. You generally want 70F+ daytime temps and 60F+ night time temps. If temps are falling below those numbers you will have to take some action to keep the plant warmer. Not sure where you live but in the northeast where I am we can't really grow sativas outdoors due to the long flowering times.

Hello bro Place your buds in any position, it is not necessary to put them upside down because the psychoactive agents are not in the sap contrary to an old urban myth. In addition to save space, the drying net can be a good solution. Leave at harvest time a maximum of branch length because it will be used to control the progress of drying. It will now be necessary to place your heads in a ventilated place, sheltered from the light, with a hygrometry of approximately 50% and a temperature approaching maximum of 20 Β° C the first 3 days, then 17, 18 Β° c . For this, a box with an extractor will suit perfectly.πŸ˜‰ You can now control the drying of your buds by folding the branches of them. Since the heads will dry from the outside to the inside, the tail of the head will be the last to dry and if it breaks clean; it is dry. This moment arrives between 1 and 2 weeks after the cut.πŸ‘ May the force be with you πŸ’ͺ

@Wicked_Stix, I transfered her into a bigger pot, the final one, and didn't give water anymore for two days now. Flushed my new soil before putting her in and mixed hydro pellets on the bottom and top. She's reacting good I think. Little bit of Root power and pure zym. Going to check on my PH too tomorrow, I'm giving 7,5PH bottled water now. Decided to take away the yellow leaves too before they could spread diseases. Hope this will do. We have some good weather coming up the next days so we will see. Will post pictures in week 5 πŸ˜‰

Pretty sure everybody is correct with the extra time (even more than breeders say) for sativa strains and the cold night temperatures. Going to follow the weather up. Nights are about Minimum 8Β° and maximum 14Β° Celsius with a high humidity level (about 60% to 85%) . Not an ideal environment I know. I did put her inside because of the forced flowering but this not always easy to do with my working hours πŸ˜‹ I always pick strains that have high mold resistance because of this. Fingers crossed for better weather here

@KrautFabrik, yeah I'm pretty sure she will at least need that. The buds are forming real good so far. Gonna post pictures and comment tomorrow for week 11 πŸ‘Š

Yo brother, them plants look nice so far. But you need to control them bugs. Probably are caterpillars but you need to look at some ways of getting rid not just removing the leafs. Neem oil is a good solution. Try that and best of luck
Clutch
Clutchcommented5 years ago
@Ganjagardenner, sounds interesting, next year I will absolutely do more in the vegative stage to keep bugs and pests under control. Neem oil, citrus smell, ladybugs, praying mantises. Sticky traps. There are many solutions πŸ™‚
Ganjagardenner
Ganjagardennercommented5 years ago
@Clutch, I also bought a pack of royal queen seeds ,companion plant seed pack. It’s abit late for this years harvest but it sure is worth having a think about this product for next year. It not only makes my garden look good but it’s kept the bugs to a minimum for sure πŸ‘πŸΎ

@Ganjagardenner, I know friend. I'm going to clean them with spinosad or neem oil, I keep a very close eye on her right now. Thinking about releasing some grown up ladybugs on her too, for the second timeπŸ˜‹ I'm defenitly looking for a good solution. Thx for the good advice

Hey brother she is defenitely over watered and needs to be put into a bigger home. that will not cause stressed roots and that is a killer . Her full potential isn't reached unless you do that you can keep her happy and alive .

@Cannibalgardens, Thx for the advice friend. I'm pretty sure u are correct with the overfeeding. I germinated her in a cocosproutpad but after 2 weeks in I already put her in the royal mix soil. This is too much nutrients for a young plant. Gonna keep that in mind for the next time. Also a bit overwatering because of the heatwave here 2 weeks ago. Right now she is doing fine. Reacts very well on her new soil. Gonna post pictures tonight for week 5πŸ˜‰

Clutchcommented5 years ago
@Cannibalgardens, Thx friend, gonna make sure not to overfeed her. Royal mix soil has all the NKP nutrients for 6 weeks it says so I'm not giving anything extra besides roots power and pure zym. Better to start slow and feed when it's really necessary. Going to check on the PH-levels too like user Valhalla gardens says πŸ‘

The_Projexxcommented5 years ago
@Clutch, Nah I would check the PH levels first before trying to just correct it with PH down and when you do use that product VERY VERY little at a time , like 1 drop stir check the PH and repeat until your at your disired PH level . In soil Ideal ranges are from 6.5 to 6.8 Thanks for taking the time to respond ! :D Happy Growing! -V.G

@The_Projexx, Thx man. I'm trying to do everything right this time πŸ™‚ My Orange Bud last year did pretty well, wanna do better this year. I do need to check on my PH-levels. Would it be wise to put in some PH down already? Really don't want to mess around with that too much because I never used it.

In response to your comment. You can get some really good flushing agents, if you’re pushed for time in flushing, I always do one week minimum! Try and get two full weeks in ,it does depend on the products you used and how the plant is looking. So far she looks lovely so great jobπŸ‘πŸΎJust wish I could smell her
Clutch
Clutchcommented5 years ago
@Ganjagardenner, I think she needs untill end of the month, wanna flush at least 2 weeks. 4 weeks of green sensation is enough I suppose and I wanna avoid bad chemical taste wich I had last year with the orange bud πŸ˜‹
