Why are buds sights so light colored? I just flipped it to 12/12 two days ago. The leaves look good and are dark, but tops are yellowish. It's in a 2x2 with 140W quantam board led at 24". Feeding it Mega Crop at 500 total ppm every other feeding.
I think this is normal and healthy! New growth comes in faster during the flower-transition-stretch, and it takes the leaves a second to catch up to the rest.
It's colour starts at a lime-green colour, then fades darker as they uptake nutrients. I feed veg nutes until after week2 of flower.
Stay with your veg nutes until it starts to bud, then lower your ppm down to 600 . While in stretch your babies want more food nitrogen mainly. Your first bloom feed should also be half veg half bloom nutes
Good way to know if your babies need more food is to look at the stem of the leaf. If it isn't green and it is starting to look reddish or purplish then your girls need more. Unless it is in the Gene's stems of the leaves then the plant should be green
Push it up to 600 then 700 if you need more you can go to 800 1.6ec
as long as your sure there is no lockout going on. 400 to 500 ppm is your starting point for babies.
