How much longer?

So this is my Northern Lights auto. It's a freaking monster! Never grew it before and it's been growing since June 26th! How much longer do you think this girl has? She's been a lot of work and takes up a lot of space but I have a feeling she'll be worth it

You’re almost there. I would inspect your tricomes. If they’re all milky then she’s good to go. You can also wait a little to see amber tricomes for a bit of a riper more flavourful taste but potency is on the decline when they start going amber. It’s really about personal preference because there’s about a week and half window of when you can pick to harvest. I suggest getting a jewellers loupe or a little Carson pocket microscope to do a quick visual inspection of your bud. They’re only 20 bucks and it’s such a great tool to have. Great job. Happy harvest grow fam.

The best way to tell when a plant is ready to harvest is by looking at the trichomes. Use a jewelers loupe or some other 60x+ magnifier and look at the trichomes up close. When they're all milky colored with a small percentage of amber it's ready to harvest. Every grower has their personal preference. I harvest my indicas when there's about 10% amber trichomes with the rest milky, and I harvest my sativas when there's 15%-20% amber trichomes. You'll figure out your preference after some trial and error. Good luck with your grow! Looks great!
