MycoDananswered grow question 3 years ago The best way to tell when a plant is ready to harvest is by looking at the trichomes. Use a jewelers loupe or some other 60x+ magnifier and look at the trichomes up close. When they're all milky colored with a small percentage of amber it's ready to harvest. Every grower has their personal preference. I harvest my indicas when there's about 10% amber trichomes with the rest milky, and I harvest my sativas when there's 15%-20% amber trichomes. You'll figure out your preference after some trial and error. Good luck with your grow! Looks great!
