POPCORN bud removal? 20 days in flower.

I have LST so branches look like pipes. Top buds around the side to a max of 2x2 and 12" from lights. Question: along the stems I'm gettin popcorn bud sites in the middle, some are stretching on their own stalks others hardly look like growing. Shall I get rid of the runts?

I trim/pick off the lower level ones. It doesn't develop into much so I remove 50-75% of the popcorn. I leave the higher ones as some do grow bigger and they are good for extracts and cooking.

Yes
they will waste energy and nutrients. Keep an eye as some sites might eventually start growing back and need a second or third plucking
