I can't recommend them highly enough!
Stick with photoperiod plants, autos may seem popular, but they really don't have anything to offer over what you can already find in more genetically stable and better producing photoperiod plants.
I am however, not a fan of autos, all that I have tried (30+) have disappointed me with poor yields and average quality, especially so if you grow outdoors.
Have grown photoperiod plants for 35+ years and can not see myself ever growing autos again.
On top of this, whatever the breeders claim, add another 4 weeks on top as to maturation time, meaning they take just as long as most photoperiod plants.
Autos will also need a lot more electricity to grow.
12 weeks at 18/6 for autos
vs
4 weeks at 18/6 and 8 weeks at 12/12 for photoperiod plants.
Do the sums, there is something like 300 hours less "lights on time" with photoperiod plants over a fairly typical 12 week cycle as compared to autos that run to 12 weeks.
I know which electricity bill I would prefer!
Cheers, Organoman. (and hater of auto flowers!)
