Thirsty look - exposed rootsMy plant has been looking thirsty but I know it isn't a water problem. ID this pest - bulb mite?Trouble in paradise. Issues with new growth on a few plants in my 2nd tent. Rather suddenly. Past experience lead me to suspect a pest eating my roots (no, not a deficiency). Checked soil. Bingo. Bulb mite? Best way to attack issue? I have 3 weeks before these go outdoors. Neem?

Roots on fireWe are in the 4th week of vegi period and changed the pots one week ago. From 0,5 liter to 11 Liter. And now the roots came out of the pots on the downsite (one 10cm). Is that a problem or can we just leave them like this and send them to bloom? If its a problem, what can we do?

pH/EC/Medium issuesI have turned off CO2 because the amount these tiny seedlings are using is so small that the CO2 in the room remains around 450 nevertheless. I can turn on CO2 as soon as needed however.
I am using pH paper strips to be sure. I bought some different light mix for seedlings.Week 2

Why should the tap root grow for some days before potting?Not a problem, but I'm eager to learn: Most tutorials recommend to let the tap root grow to about 2.5 cm before potting. Does anybody have a rationale for that? To me this sounds counter-productive (light protection for roots, correct orientation of seed). What am I missing?Week 1
