Entirely normal behaviour in cannabis. You can add some etra soil and these roots will grow down into the pot to aid in growth. It is nothing to worry about, all is as it should be. Cheers, Organoman.

Very common to happen. Nothing to worry about. From what I've found it's a survival mechanism built into certain plants to grab as much soil as they can to help ensure they do not get broken during bad weather or wind. Corn does the exact same thing.

Nothing to worry about. Roots will eventually hit the soil. Probably gets a little wet there during watering. If it bothers you, you can add more soil. My tomatoes do that as well.
