Leaf Points, still pointing up! A Deficiency.. (Hydro Fat Banana)

Hi Growers,
Last week my plant was hanging and show me a deficiency, i think it was a Calcium/Magnesium problem?! I also put the light a little bit higher because i thought she had a too much light problem too. Now the tips (leaf points) still pointing up, any grow tips ?

Hi there Gelatoman, i have to disagree with my colleagues here : it's absolutely not temperature or light stress. This is a pH and root zone problem ! you can see this because of the discoloration "splotches" and the wrinkled leafs as well as the tips and curling serrated edges of the leafs. In hydro you need NPK + micro + additives. Now you have NPK+ micro. so you need additives to fix the root zone and help with breaking down the nutrients. TRy to use something like humic or fluvic acid or something biological like "great white" for hydro. What's happening is that there are bad microbes and mold affecting the root zone. After you fix this with additives you should also consider "root pruning" technique, that when you lift the plant outside the pot and actually cut the problem roots (never more than 15% of the total root mass!) with a scissor ... this sounds crazy, but this is the "right way" for hydro. I agree it looks like heat/light. Its strange to have that lower leaf do that with heat/light it will usually be higher up. When is the last time you did a full water change? Its best to do it weekly. In a DWC the water can start to become unbalanced and needs a fresh new batch to sit in. Your PH seems high to me 5.8 would be ideal, Hydro is 5.5-6.5 range. I would also lower your dose to 1ml/L as it could be from over feeding.

That looks light serious heat and light stress. Leaves clawing up are a sure sign of this. Your light is 18cm away according to your diary. I would make that 18inches or further until she has recovered.

1. Growing towards the window once again
2. Have parts of them barely exposed to the sunlight.
What do I do?

I just got my meters in today. Soil pH is reading 7.5-8.0. I wasn't testing the pH of my water until now, reservoir read 8.3, applied pH down to get it to 6.7 and a ppm of 120. The ppm of the runoff for #5 was reading 1500, i flushed it down to 900. Are they locked out of nutes?Week 2

after 2 weeks I m very worried about my lady’s. at first I thought it was over feeding so flushed the bed and started again. I had left my pump on constant so put it back to timer. But I m still getting a lot of brown spotting on leafs and there dying from the edge in root rot??Week 11
