If you make your own moonshine you can also make a drink from it.
Just soak the trimmings in alcoholwater of 60%, don't stirr.
Let is soak for around 4 days and it will be darkish brown.
Filter it and add a handfull of anise seeds, a handfull of fennel seeds, a bit of sugar ( a small cup)
and a couple bruised juniper berries (5).
After two/three days on room temperature, filter it.
After filtering add some water to get to 40% and then you have a very potent headrush drink...!
