From the day the cotyledon (first small circular leaves) open and you can see the first true set of leaves I would say that germination over and day 1 of seedling. Usually around a 2 weeks after that you will have a third node, a big second set of leaves and a tiny set of nodes coming from the main stem a the base of the second set of leaves. When I see all this I know the plant has established a good root system and I would say your vegging as you can really notice the growth day by day from that point. Good luck bro 💪

I class it as a seedling until its 2nd set off true leaves are out.

It’s one of those things that are open to interpretation really. I consider my plants a seedling until they are well rooted, usually by the time they reach their third node, at that point the plant is firmly established in its container and is much more resilient then when it is young.

Hello GuiltyPassion the first set of leaf is the cotyledons then you will have your first node with the real set of leaf. This can take one week to reach this stage. Good luck. Bye
