I wet trim, put in my hanger to dry for 4 to 6 days usually in a closet, in the dark, no fans and no humidity control. When the buds feel like they could be smoked, but really aren't ready yet., and the stems have a slight crack when you bend them, I put all the bud together into a box or cooler if you have one. You shut the lid until the buds become rehydrated. This usually takes 15 minutes to half an hour. This is called sweating. As soon as it feels wet again, you open the lid of the box or cooler and start drying it in the box or cooler. When the top starts to dry, bring the bottom to the top, and let that start to dry. Repeat this until all the bud reaches the dryness that you like, smokable at this point. Jar the weed and leave the jars open the first day. Then close the jars for a day. Open the next day to burp for a few hours. Check every day for a week to see whether they need to be burped. When you open the jars and they feel the same dryness as the day before, then it can be shut and stored in a dark place for up to 2 yrs. This is how most big growers dry their crops, and the only way I will do it. If you want to try different ways is alright as well. Just do this with a small portion of your harvest and see how the end product tastes. Try some the other ways and see how they taste. If you want the taste you get from quality smoke, my way takes out all the homegrown green taste. Always great tasting smoke and as soon as it is dried, it's smokable. Final cure in jar just adds to it. No homie smell after smoking....

Dont aim for 65rh, anything over will be detrimental, aim 55 and keep tabs on fluctuation levels, its fairly difficult maintain rh 65% perfectly aim for 65 and you will fluctuate 55-75rh maybe worse. Aiming for 55 will keep it 45-65 ish. Measure different parts of tent, hang whatever height reaches closest to 60.

Low and slow, terpenes which are responsible for smell, flavors etc are highly sensitive to heat, even ambient levels. Myrecene degrades at 67 farenheight. 60-65. Aim for humidity of 55-65%rh. Limit light exposure. There is no practical reason for the plants being upside down, plants are historically aced at the highest point of a grow space as humidity rises, even in a ambient t 4x4 grow tent the humidity at top of the tent is easily 20-30rh difference top to bottom. The slightly higher humidity will give a more even moisture distribution. Make sure to give at least 3 days of no red IR to boost terpenes prior to the 48-72 hours of darkness. The plant will sense darkness and conclude a long winter, will store every last ounce of starch/sugars in the roots, this will help alot with smoothness. Good luck brother.

I agree, in the dark, no fan, no artificially created humidity, just plain household air. Too much humidity, real or artificial, will just encourage mould/bud rot.

if you plan to hang as is keep humidity at 60 maybe first few days. and always inspect the buds for bud rot. after 7 days if its dry , trim it, sugar leaves will be bone dry at this stage, destem your plant the move to jars, keep in jars for no longer than 4 hours without a fridge, or one day in fridge, then take the buds out to dry, they will be moist again, now you monitor them until the outside of each bud is dry to the touch then you move again to jars and check 2 times daily, and if you feel they moist you take them back again to dry, after 4 days you can keep them in jars and make sure to open the lid once daily for the buds to breathe. once the hudity inside the jar is 62-63 then you close the jars, add some 62% humidity packs if available to you. make sure that buds are in dark cool place, you can store in fridge or freezer if you like, if its too hot outside.
