if you don't control humidity and temp relative to life cycle phase, i'd just stick to 40-60% range. That's a good range to avoid microbial issues. A lower RH will increase transpiration, which will in turn increase uptake from roots. Temperature plays a role in that rate too. Warmer will increase transpiration, therefore uptake too. i don't know what you mean by stones? weight? or, if this is about reducing RH, well you need a dehumidifier or better air exchange, but if the intake air is just as humid, that does nothing to help, obviously. if you want to tightly control this stuff, google Vapor Pressure Deficit.. .you'll find a table and guide for targets.
