Hi there, It is now 9 days after the light changeover and there are still no signs of flowering, no pistils, none at all. I am now wondering if it is normal for it to take so long ?!

Don’t worry right now. It appears you’re flipping to 12/12 within the first couple weeks of veg. Here’s the deal - most females don’t produce enough ethylene to actually begin flowering until 4 to 6 weeks of being alive. So if you initiate flower at week 3,4, or 5 - you’re going to see a delay in flowering because they aren’t entirely mature. You’re forcing them earlier than nature normally allows. Anyways, it looks like you flipped around week 3 or 4 of veg to get a sea of green set up. Don’t worry about it. They will transition to flower it just takes some extra time because they’re young. If you get beyond day 21, then you may have issues.. Those pistils will show up here probably around day 14

Every plant grown from seed is going to act a little differently, I would keep it up and give her more time. Might also want to stretch a lot and flower long. If you still have no signs after another week or so try increasing the dark period by another couple hours, and double check for light leaks (anything stronger than moonlight could be a big issue.) Happy growing! 👍🌱
