Why are you guys spreading misinformation?? Telling people using hydroponics to feed right away. From Green Planet Nutrients and my own experience you are wrong. And now you know... https://www.greenplanetnutrients.com/faq/

@ HarbingerofHarvest I totally agree with you about the fertilizer on Hydro. I grow on Aero and I know all the initial problems :-) but you learn from mistakes, and if the genetic is still fairly new, you will know it by heart after a while 👍🌱🍀

At aero, I just learned it that way. I set my values, the Ec value drops I go 0.1 above the value it had before, the Ec value increases, the plant cannot absorb it and I correct the value again 0.1 :-)

Sorry harbingerofharvest i disagree.. Ive growing using nft techniques 4 over 18yrs so ive dabbled a wee bit.. 😂.. Basically i take a cutting from a "healthy" mother.. I use basic hydro a&b grow along wit rhizo, superthrive, fulvic, silicon and enzymes.. I dip my rockwool blocks in said solution, dip cuttings into clonex and place cubes into propagation unit.. I get a 99.9% success rate... I transplant into 4inch cubes with same solution wen rooted(7-10days usually)... Wen rooted i set my nft tank up n set up exactly how ive explained in my dairy on RQS FAT BANANA.. She'll b 14days on 12/12 and is doin sweet.. The only time i use just plain ph'd water is during flush, 2 water moms between feeds and occasionally to dip 4inch cubes in between feeds if growing up in blocks.. Ppls main problem wit hydro i believe is a) just feeding to much.. b) not checking ph daily.. c) not checking and regulating ppms correctly.. d) poor husbandry.. Those who have ever own a fish tank will know wot i mean.. U r correct about no buffers etc but unfortunately thats why hydro is more demanding because u are its sole supplier of nutrients.. Stay safe every1 n best wishes on your growing.. Every1 does things that suits ther own environment.. My way will not work wit every setup bear in mind.. 👍🍀✌️

Agreed ! You are right but when using RO water some cal mag will be good and a little bit of roots booster is not bad but it’s only light additives

@souljasam that makes a ton of sense for you dude. Coco is definitely a different beast tho. With the hydro there is no buffer so there is no saturation and the water supply is the effective medium. It's not just Green Planet Nutrients... Iv'e read from a number of different sources that the best time to start feeding hydro is when the second set of true leaves start to emerge. Again this is a constant watering type situation guys.. Keep this is mind. Mediums absorb and buffer nutrients and hydroponics is very different in concept and in design.

Hi my friend, I've never fed this fertilizer. I was just on the side, because it says on the bottle symbols are for which medium it can be used. Have you ever looked at yourself? . It's best to write to the manufacturer directly. or you can rinse properly and feed with other fertilizer. Keep it up and let it grow Bro 😎👌

I grow in coco and generally water the pot with a very light nute solution prior to planting because coco likes to just hold on to a number of different nutes and prevent the plant from using them. so basically I precharge my coco to fill its caches that keep nutes from my plants, that way a few days from sprout when the first true leaves come in I can start feeding and my plant will have access to the nutes it needs to grow. I have tried waiting up to a week and a half before starting to feed and honestly if I wait any longer than 5 days to start feeding the plants don't do as well. they grow much slower and generally don't look as happy as the plants fed earlier.
