First leaves

Hello there Growfam ,I did notice on my wedding glue that first set of leaves got 3 of them and the second set also 3 ,should be just two right ,I did not see this before in my grow ,is there anything to look after if growing like this and why do they grow like this ?

Yeah it’s a genetic mutation.. nothing to worry about. It will likely be a more dense/bushy plant tho. I have one going right now actually as well.

Found the technical term whorled phyllotaxy or trifoliate Some people say they are more prone to hermi. I have not experienced that from my plants that have shown this mutation.

Its quite common and nothing to worry about. The plant will grows out of it by a few nodes of growth. If it does not, it won't hurt it. just more plant to grow.

You got a mutation. I would say a good one to!!. More branches per node more buds. Since you have an extra branch coming from each node you will most likely have to defoliate a bit as it will be more dense with the extra branches. Curious what starts to happen with the new growth between the fan leaf and the main stem. If everything is tripled up and it is a photoperiod I would clone and back breed it to see if you can get a reliable seed that germinates that way all the time.
