look from underneath and spread it out, if you do thin it out. try to even out the number how much side branching on any one primary cola. Based on pictures, you may only need to remove a leaf or two to avoid microbial risks from overlap and congestion. depending on how much vege growth is left (even if in bloom phase) you may want to keep some strong branching.. just strip those branches of lower axillary buds so it focuses on the top cola (any smaller side branch you keep). This may actually hurt yield in many situations. if oyu make bubble hash, for example, this larfy shit is great to have. water flows through it well, knocking off more trichomes per gram due to increased surface area to volume ratio.
i'd becareful at this stage. Vege growth ends at some point... what you take off now may not grow back like before. you may not get much more vertical growin if near end of that transition to full bloom. So, consider that when you decide how much to strip lower growth.
if it's an autoflower, you want to do this closer to when preflower form and in a limited way if needed. this would be like 7-10 days into 12/12 for a photoperiod. with photos, since we flip the switch, better to do around time of flip. diversity of plants makes this a ballpark. a plant that stretching 5+ weeks after 12/12 might be better doing this 10-14 days after flip. either way, i'd do it before you see the more developed tufts of pistils
