What do think the minimal darkness that’s needed during veg for a photo plant? I’ve read a lot I’ve done the 18/6 for evey grow but would like to goto to 20 or 22 hours light for the last two weeks vegging. See any harm/Benifit ?

Your can grow 24/0 for the first few weeks but it is best to give your plant some down time. Its would be like constantly starring at a computer screen, your eyes will hurt. Plus no where on earth is their light that intense for 24 hours straight all week. 18/6 is best for photos or autos in veg I think. 20/4 is ok, you can get away with it, but I feel the plant is more irritable and will react more to stress. 24/0 is not good in my opinion, but people still do it. as a time line for plants, they tend to be getting most sun of their life in the high period of veg, and then it slowly tappers off to less and less everyday. So to grow it with 18/6 then go up to 22/2 then back down to 12/12 would not feel right to them. It would make more seance to go from to 20/4 "summer", to 18/6 "end of summer" to 12/12 "fall/winter" Good Luck and Happy Growing

Photos need their rest and autos do as well. 18/6 is best even for autos.
