Led lighting

I personally have grown with a sf 1000D (cheaper model, same board, not dimmable) in a 26”x26” tent and had great results (check my kushberryxgorillabomb diary for reference, 5 oz from one plant). That being said, I recently tried running it along side a mars hydro ts 1000 in the same tent, and it increased the temps to much, jumped me into the 85+ range. So from personal experience, extra light is always good, but there is a point where you start running in to other issues, running costs compared to how much it would produce, temp/humidity control issues etc. The SF 1000 is more than capable of covering a 2.5x2.5 tent without the need for a second light. Also, as having very recently had a light malfunction mid grow, it's always better to have a known working spare on hand. Driver/controller went on my TS 1000 (the light was stuck on minimum intensity, despite dimmer turned to max) and am still waiting on replacement parts from Mars hydro two weeks later with no update on shipping. if I didn't have that SF 1000D sitting in a box waiting I would have been screwed.

More watts - better, I guess Spider Farmer will be stronger, so Heng her in the middle of 2/3 of all space, rest will cover vipra. Good luck !

As long as you can keep a somewhat even canopy throughout - I’d just run with the SF. If you can keep an even canopy, you can keep it closer during flower when it needs that added intensity

Old tech still works fine I am Still using HID until I can afford to upgrade to COB or CMH
