IS IT BETTER TO HAVE THE LIGHT INTENSITY LOWER AND THE LIGHTS LOWER OR HAVE THE INTENSITY AT 100% AND RAISE THE LIGHT?

i would recomend maybe 25% and keep it 12" at seedling to keep from stretching then up it 50-75% @ 18" veg and then crank it to 100% for flower and use the photone app or get a par meter (if you have the money) to check ppfd and adjust height

How can I reduce the heat in my 5x5 tent (650w light bar/6" ac Infinity and a ton of fans) without AC? Do I have to leave tent open?5x5 tent is in a kind of lung room (utility room) that stays around 20C/68F. The tent always seems to be at 30C86F with lights on. Ive added and moved fans, opened more intake vents. I have AC, but its -25C/-13F outside. Id like to drop the daytime temp 5ish degrees for flower.

18/6 leads to high temps in small tent; change light schedule or stick it out?Girls are at 18/6 and 3-4 hours before lights out the tent gets up to 90 degrees and humidity can’t compete. Should I wait it out or try 16/8 moving towards 12/12 close to flowering (autoflower). Will lowering light exposure affect yield more than high temps would at 18/6

OK to switch from 12/12 to 18/6 for auto in flower?Is it OK to switch an auto from 12/12 to 18/6 when in flower (2 weeks)? I moved the plants from the attic which was way too hot and tried the 12/12 schedule to reduce the heat. Now that they are in an AC spare room wondering if it would be worth switching. Appreciate the support!

Light hanging distance I’m not sure how high to hang my light. My plants seem to be all staying extremely squat and not stretching, though all seem healthy. I’ve been fiddling between 18-28 inches and 600-800 ppfd (ios meter app) and I can’t find a distance that seems to make them happier. D26 autos

WEAK GROW LIGHT So I am using a 50 watt cob my LED only dishes out 145 uMol/ meter^2 per scnd at 6 feet distance and 70 at 12 feet, which I run for 18 hours so aprx. 5 moles DLI. Is it enough? how much dry bud can I expect from this? any advice? I am on a budget grow. Help needed, thanks.
