how long to go?

They plants have been on plain water now for a few days - do they look ready? are some able to be chopped or is there another 1 or 2 weeks left.. the colas are weighting down the stems and I would not want them to snap! many thanks

@hooolian Hi mate in your case YES I believe they are ready to harvest Especially those larger buds with the swollen calyxes and browned off pistils . Happy Harvest Mate they look very good 😍

Agree, first 2 pictures look perfectly ready, the third picture another 7-10 days, or when they look like the buds in pics one and two. Don't worry, they won't snap, the plant is capable of looking after itself. It is mainly outdoors and high winds that cause breakages or overly rough handling indoors. Even if they do snap, as long as they don't detach, they will be ok. Cheers, Organoman.

I zoom in see no amber I’d say at least a week and you should do another 5 days clean water. When in doubt wait a week is the old school rule if you don’t want to be in doubt get a magnify glass or microscope 10% clear 10% amber is what I shoot for.

Best way to tell is by trichome colour. 10-30% amber is deal. I do around 10%. Can use a magnifying glass to help you see them or a macro lens for your phone. If you where use pistils as a way to tell. they look like they are ready in the first two photos, but not the third. Good Luck!
