Is my male becoming a hermie and getting pistils on his balls?

Definitely looks like a hermie to me. I just had a bunch of females go hermie and they were also spitting pistils out of the sacs. I would consider not using pollen from this male, as hermaphroditic traits will likely be carried and the offspring will be unstable. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing.

Not normal male flowers, they do look like pistils emerging. Not a candidate for breeding with unfortunately.

I actually was looking to use the pollen from this male but now I am not sure because it seems to be developing pistils. Are those pistils and is this a hermie?

that is male pollen sacks and some of them are popping open. <<<>>> They will pollinate your tent and stop all weed from growing more and just focus on seeds. Best to destroy the whole plant, as more and more sacks will develop on that plant. If this is from bag seed, its a hard lesson why you should grow out only good genetics where you know its history and lineage. Good Luck!
