When to train branch to the middle?

Hey growers! I was wondering when I should start bending and training one of the branches down the middle? I know it's not necessary but I've seen quite a lot of people doing this

I usually do that all along during training. As opposed to growing them all to the perimeter like you've done then trying to move it. Now the stems have become stiffer so major moves need to be done carefully to avoid breakage. I also don't see that you have a good candidate to move. You have beautiful spacing around the perimeter so I don't see any benefit to moving one to the middle.

You could have left the upward-facing nodes from after your initial topping and that would have filled out the middle for you.
